Terms of Service

These Terms apply to your use of the mystdy.com website and the pre-launch waitlist. When the full MySTDY product launches, a separate set of product Terms will apply — covering accounts, user-generated content, AI features, payments, and the marketplace. These pre-launch Terms are intentionally brief.

1. Who these terms are with

These Terms are a binding agreement between you and Ren Vekst AS (Org. nr 934 231 635), Engøveien 74, 3145 Tjøme, Norway — the company that operates MySTDY. By submitting the waitlist form you accept these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

2. The waitlist

Joining the waitlist adds your email to an outbound list so we can tell you when MySTDY goes live at your university. It does not create a product account, does not give you access to any paid service, and does not cost anything.

Between now and launch we may email you with launch readiness updates and early-access invitations. We will not send marketing blasts, and we will never share your email with third parties for advertising. You can unsubscribe at any time from any email we send.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to submit the waitlist form. By signing up you confirm this. Do not submit another person's email address.

4. Accuracy of information

We do our best to keep this site accurate, but pre-launch information (launch date, feature scope, launch universities, Study Score mechanics) may change as the product evolves. Nothing on this site is a binding commitment to ship any specific feature on a specific date.

5. Acceptable use

Don't attempt to scrape, flood, probe for vulnerabilities, or otherwise abuse this website or the waitlist endpoint. Don't impersonate another person, another university, or MySTDY itself. Don't submit spam or test submissions in volume.

6. Intellectual property

The MySTDY name, wordmark, visual identity, copy, illustrations, product screenshots, and the source code of this website are owned or licensed by Ren Vekst AS. You may share public links to this site and talk about the product. You may not copy, mirror, or rehost the site or its content, or use the MySTDYbrand to suggest endorsement or affiliation you don't have.

7. No warranty

This site is provided as is and as available. We aim to keep it online but do not guarantee uninterrupted access, freedom from errors, or fitness for a particular purpose. We may modify, take down, or replace any part of the site at any time.

8. Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Ren Vekst AS is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of this site or the waitlist. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under mandatory law, including your statutory consumer rights.

9. Governing law & disputes

These Terms are governed by Norwegian law, supplemented by applicable EU law including the GDPR. We ask that you email us at privacy@mystdy.com to resolve any disagreement informally first. If that fails, disputes go to the competent courts in Tønsberg, Norway, unless a mandatory consumer-protection rule in your country of residence gives you the right to bring the claim elsewhere.

10. Changes

We may update these Terms as the product evolves. The “effective” date at the top reflects the current version. A full post-launch version will replace this pre-launch set before the product goes live. Material changes are emailed to waitlist members.
