ABOUT

Nobody has ever measured how focused students actually are. We're about to.

The thing that actually separates students — how focused they are when they study — is also the thing nobody measures. We built MySTDY to change that. This is what we believe, and who's building it.

What we believe.

01

The real measure isn't time.

Six hours in the library means nothing if only two were focused. Students already feel it. Nobody has ever put a number on it — until now.

02

The top students study differently, not more.

They're not grinding. They're focusing. The gap is measurable — and it's what MySTDY is built around.

03

Data beats discipline.

Lectures on focus don't work. Numbers do. When students see their own distraction in minutes, the minutes change.

04

You own your data.

Your Study Score is yours. To keep, to share, to take with you when you graduate.

Hours are easy to count.Focus is the thing worth counting.

ORIGIN

Why we're building this.

MySTDY started at CBS, in Mikkel's head. He was watching his classmates put in real work — 40, 50, 60 hours a week — and still feel like the grade didn't match the grind. Hours were the only thing anyone counted, but hours don't say anything about what actually happened at the desk. Students deserve a number that represents the effort they actually put in. So he started building it.

Where is MySTDY based?

Copenhagen and Oslo.

Is MySTDY a startup or a student project?

A startup. The team works on MySTDY full-time, and we're preparing for public launch at eight universities in May 2026.

Is MySTDY funded?

We're a pre-launch early-stage company. Details on our funding structure aren't public.

When was MySTDY founded?

In 2025, at CBS.

What's the story behind MySTDY?

Mikkel was at CBS, watching classmates put in real 50- and 60-hour study weeks and still feel the grade didn't match the effort. Hours were the only thing anyone counted — but hours don't say anything about what actually happened at the desk. Students deserved a number that represented the work they actually put in. So he started building it.

Is MySTDY open-source?

No.

How does MySTDY make money?

Not yet. At launch MySTDY is free for students. A sustainable model will be built around features students want to pay for — never by selling student data.

Is MySTDY hiring?

Occasionally. The fastest way in is to reach out at teodor@mystdy.com with a specific reason you want to build this with us.

How can I support MySTDY?

Join the waitlist, tell your friends at your university, and follow us. If you run a student society or a university programme and want us on your campus, email mikkel@mystdy.com.
